S tube shaft broken is a malignant fault, should be avoid. To avoid greater losses, It is only can make emergency milling or lathe when shaft broken. The second case of shaft broken is that the small end seat is not lubricated properly,it is blocked, thus the s-tube shaft is broken (It is caused by improper maintenance by customers);Another reason is the quality problem itself,there is no such failure in the main engine factories. After the improvement of accessory market in recent years, there is rarely such failure.
Abnormal abrasion at the bottom of s-tube is a common fault of the built-in s-tube, which is more than 70% of the faults.In order to improve the wear resistance of the s-pipe, various accessory manufacturers in the market add an iron plate at the bottom of the s-pipe where it is easy to be worn, so as to increase its service life.Now the main engine factory also has strengthened it, the external type S tube does not exist this problem.
There are two kinds of Abnormal abrasion of outter housing, one is partial wear, the other is at the material outle,it is easy to damage.The former is caused by the large and small end of the s-tube are not coaxial, it is quality problem,not use problem.The latter is related to the quality of outer housing wear-resistant sleeve and lubrication. The chromic layer thickness mainly effect the Outer housing wear-resisting sleeve quality, Main engine factory make the thickness up to 0.16 millimeter, accessory market is ony 0.06-0.10 millimeter, or even lower. The main reason for poor lubrication of S-Tube is that users use lithium based grease without lithium. Lithium plays a good role in lubricating grease and can form oil film.Lithium based grease on the market not only do not contain lithium, some even contain impurities.
